Framing
I've partnered with an expert local framer, Real Choice Framing, to produce every shadow box frame we use. Together, we designed a unique system behind the flowers, built specifically to give them a controlled internal cavity and ensure they aren't pressed flat against the glass. I didn't want to leave framing as an afterthought. It's just as considered as the preservation itself, because a beautifully preserved bouquet deserves a frame that protects it properly, not just holds it. Every frame is handcrafted using quality, conservation-grade materials, so you can trust it's been chosen with as much care as your flowers were.
Glass
Each frame is fitted with AR70 art glass, a museum and conservation-grade glass, not what you'd typically find in a standard picture frame. It's anti-reflective, cutting reflections down to less than 1%, so you're looking at your flowers, not your own reflection or the room around them. It also blocks around 70% of UV light, one of the biggest causes of colour fade in preserved flowers over time. It's part of why a Cherished Blooms frame costs more than an off-the-shelf option, but for something this personal, I wasn't willing to cut the one material doing the most to protect it long-term.
Colours & Finishes
Standard shadow box frames are available in white, black or oak.
For something a little more considered, we also offer a special finished option, a subtle flower design etched into the white frame, timeless and elegant, and a lovely choice if you want your piece to feel a touch more premium.
Sizes
We offer five frame sizes in total, though any size can suit either a wedding or memorial piece, it really comes down to your flowers and what feels right for you.

Designs
I generally work in three design styles, depending on your flowers and the story I want the piece to tell:

Bouquet style — arranged as if viewed from the side, more sculptural and dimensional. Suits 50x50 and 50x70.

Design style — arranged as if looking down on the bouquet. Suits 50x50 and 50x70.

Linear — flowers arranged in a clean, straight line. Suits 35x65.
None of these are botanically exact reproductions, they're shaped by my own artistic eye, true to the flower's character and how I feel it comes together best.
Memorial pieces follow a similar approach, with a few extra options built around the photo insert:

45x35cm with photo insert — preserve your flowers alongside a photo of your loved one in the same piece. The photo insert opens separately from the rest of the frame, so there's no rush, you can add your photo whenever you're ready, and it can sit centred, to one side, or in a corner, with flowers arranged around it.
